Corporategovernance assumptions

Corporate governance is all actions and regulations oriented towards ensuring a balance between interests of all stakeholder groups engaged in the Company’s operation: shareholders, Management Board, Supervisory Board, employees, customers, suppliers.

As a public company, we see to building transparent partnerships with our stakeholders in accordance with the corporate governance rules. Since 1 January 2020, TAURON shares are included in the WIG-ESG index that includes the shares of companies recognized as socially responsible, i.e. those that comply with the principles of corporate social responsibility, in particular with respect to the environmental, social, economic and corporate governance issues.

Pursuant to § 70 sec. 6 item 5) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 29 March 2018 on current and periodical information disclosed by issuers of securities and conditions to acknowledge as equivalent information required by legal regulations of a non-member state (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2018, item 757), the Company’s Management Board presents the statement on the application of corporate governance in 2019.
